Produkte aus Deutschlandsberg wie Vielschichtvaristoren und -thermistoren, CeraLink® Keramik-Kondensatoren oder Ultraschall-Sensor-Module adressieren schon heute ein breites Anwendungsspektrum, und zunehmend werden sie sich auch neue Zukunftsmärkte, etwa den 5G-Mobilfunk erschließen. Weiter verbreitert wird das Produktportfolio durch innovative, auf Halbleitertechnologie basierende Produkte wie TVS-Dioden, die empfindliche Elektronik vor elektrostatischen Entladungen schützen.

Neben Entwicklung und Fertigung verfügt der Standort über weitere Kompetenz: Das dort eingerichtete R&D Center Europe konzentriert sich als eines von mehreren TDK Forschungszentren weltweit auf die Applikations- und System-Entwicklung für die Automobil- und Industrie-Elektronik.

Production of electronic components (mainly made of ceramics), e.g. piezo actuators, multilayer varistors, multilayer thermistors, sensors, PTC thermistors, thermistors and DSSPs.

Products from Deutschlandsberg such as multilayer varistors and thermistors, CeraLink® ceramic capacitors or ultrasonic sensor modules already address a wide range of applications, and increasingly they will also open up new future markets, such as 5G mobile communications. The product portfolio is further broadened by innovative products based on semiconductor technology, such as TVS diodes, which protect sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharges.

In addition to development and production, the site has further expertise: the R&D Center Europe set up there is one of several TDK research centers worldwide focusing on application and system development for automotive and industrial electronics.
